The White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) says the three-day government shutdown will force it to delay the release of President Trump’s proposed 2019 budget.
“Preparing for and then implementing the recent lapse in appropriations meant that both OMB and agency staff lost several work days during an especially critical part of the budget production process,” a spokeswoman said, according to The Hill.
Trump’s budget had been expected early next month. It will now be released February 12.
