A large majority of Americans, 70 percent, supports the idea of “Medicare for all,” according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll.
The poll found that 85 percent of Democrats now back the Medicare expansion — and 52 percent of Republicans support the idea as well. The poll, conducted in June and July, asked 2,989 respondents about Medicare for all. The results have a margin of error of 2 percentage points.
