Poll of the Day: Who's Responsible for the Health Care System

A recent Morning Consult/Politico poll found that 56 percent of voters say that President Obama is most responsible for the current state of the health care system and the Affordable Care Act, up from 44 percent in March.

About one in four people polled say President Trump is most responsible.

The shift is being driven by Democrats and independents, Morning Consult’s Yusra Murad writes — and reflects largely positive news about the ACA and 2019 premiums in recent months as well as Democratic efforts to paint themselves as the party of health care.
