Pending home sales in California rose only 1.5 percent in October — the latest data available — while the housing market in the state showed signs of cooling, with fewer properties getting multiple offers for the seventh straight month.
*The increase in home prices reflects the average gain from January to October recorded by CoreLogic. Price increases for November and December are not available yet.
