Washington Post fact checker Glenn Kessler analyzed President Trump’s voluminous record of false claims to determine which specific issues crop up most frequently. The top three have a strong fiscal or economic component and are part of an elite group Kessler describes as “Bottomless Pinocchios” — a “dubious distinction” that “will be awarded to politicians who repeat a false claim so many times that they are, in effect, engaging in campaigns of disinformation,” Kessler wrote Monday.

The three top false claims repeated by Trump are:

1. The tax cuts pushed through Congress last year are the biggest in history.

2. A trade deficit means the U.S. is “losing” money.

3. The U.S. economy is currently the strongest it’s ever been.
