The Kennedy Rocker may well be the most famous rocking chair in history, launched into the limelight by JFK, who suffered from chronic back pain and found comfort and support in the sturdy chair. He acquired more than 14 rocking chairs over his lifetime, one of which made it onto Air Force One. Today, Kennedy's original Oval Office rocker can be seen at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston, while two of the original Kennedy rockers sold at auction for more than $440,000 each.
