Department of Education-Arne Duncan
During his four years as education secretary, Duncan has worked on a series of initiatives including the Race to the Top program, Investing in Innovation and expanding Pell Grants for college students. Before joining the Obama administration, Duncan served as chief executive officer of the Chicago Public Schools, the third largest school district in the country.
