Manhunt (2003)

Manhunt's brutal, gritty, psychological violence quickly made it the Doom of its generation, with parents and politicians alike citing it as a murder manual for children (even though, as always, this game was rated M for Mature by the ESRB). The game, in which you play an escaped death-row inmate forced into a killing spree, was also banned in New Zealand and confiscated en masse in Germany.
