A participant jumps into the river to catch ducks and geese during a competition to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival on a section of the Yangtze River in Yibin, Sichuan province. The festival is commemorated in memory of Chinese patriotic poet Qu Yuan, who drowned himself on the day in 277 B.C.
