Death Race (1976)
Though tame in comparison to everything else here, this was probably the first game to cause any kind of controversy. The object of the game was to run over pedestrians, who would then be replaced by a little gravestone. For the time, being able to run over pedestrians in games was unthinkably violent - a sign of a generation in decline. Nowadays, it's a quirky feature.
